Shades of Development
Our hearts are full💚 We celebrated Afterschool Professionals Appreciation Week last week. This is an event that requires planning, collaboration, solicitation, and time. We were blessed with the results of everyones hard work. With the help of our wonderful board members and local companies in our community we were able to shower our employees with tokens of appreciation. We have so many people and businesses to thank for this week. Starting with our SHADES board members: we would like to thank Tyler Morrow for donating #panera gift cards, Liz Turpin for items to complete charcuterie boards, Allison Bray for getting bagels donated from #potchkedeli, ice cream from #CruzeFarm and gift bags from #BuffCitySoap and for providing our directors and Central Office members lunch from #Jimmyjohns, PJ Hoskins for the treats from #NothingBundtCakes, Adam Kornegay for gift cards to #chickfila, Carney Ivy and Tate Cantrell for the beautiful floral arrangements (donated by #sjcknox) and putting together 4 amazing gifts baskets filled with thoughtful gifts, and Melina Bowers for the delicious Chick-fil-A cookies and also her self-less donation of time and help at SHADES Central Office. We appreciate each of you and your contributions that helped make the week extra special. We would also like to send a huge shout-out to our site directors for the donations they were able to acquire. They worked hard to make calls, send emails, and drive around town to pick up donations. They went above and beyond to make our staff feel appreciated. We hope you all felt the love last week and please know that we see each one of you and realize that the work done at SHADES would not be possible without all of you! And we are so thankful to all of the local companies that donated items to help recognize and acknowledge thanks to our staff!💚#shadesofdevelopment #71southknox #865axe #andersonashboutique #CarolinaAleHouse #coffeeandchololateknox #crumbl #duckdonuts #dunkin #Hamngoodies #KnoxvilleIceBears #knoxvillecoffeeco #zooknoxville #thekrackenscupknox #longevity_wellness #museknox #nothingtoofancyknoxville #properpopcorn #sir_gooneys #topgolf #traderjoes #wonderworks_tn ...
