Sabrina Witt - Summer Camp Director
Sabrina has been the Site Director at the Powell location since June 2009. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in Child Development. She has 14+ years experience working with children. She has worked in all kinds of realms with children her whole life. She enjoys spending time with her daughter, family and friends while not at work and enjoys learning new things every day.    
Manisha Trivedi - Assistant Director
Hi my name is Manisha Trivedi, I was born and raised in New Jersey and recently moved to Knoxville, Tennessee with my husband. I have a bachelors degree in Psychology and a MBA degree in Human Resources. I have 12+ years of experience working with children. In my free time I love to travel and to go shopping.
Shon Ramsey - 2nd and 3rd A
Shon was born the last of 7 with 6 older sisters in the heart of the Appalachian mountains. He was an all state athlete in track and field and wrestling and would go on to turn down college scholarships to join the Navy during Operation Iraqi Freedom as a Navy Diver and EOD tech. After receiving a BA in English (and traveling the world as a commercial deep sea diver) he spent the past couple of years teaching in private outdoor adventure schools before moving to East Tennessee and finding a home with SHADES in Brickey. 
Fernada Walthers - 4th and 5th A
Fernanda moved to the United States from Brazil 8 years ago. She is currently a student at the University of Tennessee where she is studying Child and Family Studies. Once she graduates she plans on advocate for children in need working along with social services. Fernanda enjoys being around her family, friends, and co-workers. Fernanda enjoys working at SHADES because she can bring lots of diversity to the program. 
Kathy Scott - 2nd and 3rd A
Kathy has been with SHADES for 16 years. She started in December 1998. Kathy is one of the few that have been with SHADES for over ten years. She assists the lead teacher with Kindergarten. She is also in charge of getting snack ready and serving it to all the children. Kathy also supervises children on the playground, library, and assists with homework.

Justin Kramer - 4th and 5th A
Justin moved to Knoxville from Mississippi 3 years ago to attend the University of Tennessee, currently a senior and pursuing a degree in Therapeutic Recreation. After graduation, Justin hopes to one day work with at risk youth and/or children with children with intellectual disabilities. Justin enjoys being around his family, friends, and co-workers. Justin enjoys sports, the outdoors, and traveling.  He believes that children are our future, and getting to work with them everyday assures that he can have a little part in making the world a better place for us all.

Nancy Morgan - Closer
Nancy was born a country girl in Northern Ohio, and although she has lived in several states and had many exciting experiences, I remain a country girl at heart. She is the mother of four and grandmother of five children, one being a special needs child and he is extremely special. She will begin her ninth year at SHADES on March 12. She loves working with SHADES because she loves children and hopefully will make a difference in their lives. 
Sara Dockery - Opener
Sara has been with SHADES for 16 years. She started in August 1998. She is one of the few that have been with SHADES for over ten years. Sara assists the lead teacher with supervision and clubs in our Learning Center area.
Sara graduated from Draughons Business College with a Stenographic degree.

Ayron Felter - Kind and 1st A
Ayron - grew up in sunny Orlando, FL. In Florida she volunteered and worked in many different child care centers. She goes to school for early childhood education and the education of young children is her passion.  When she is not at SHADES she enjoys arts and crafts, hiking, exercising and playing with her dogs.
Jennifer McLaurin - Kind - 1st
Jennifer was born and raised in a small town in Indiana.  She moved to Tennessee to attend Johnson University where she received her Bachelor's degree and obtained her teaching license.  Jennifer joined the SHADES team in 2011, working as a teacher at Adrian Burnett.  Several months later she took the Director's position at Mount Olive and then helped open the SHADES program at Sam E Hill Preschool in 2013.  Jennifer has a passion for working with children and truly enjoys the preschool age group.  When she's not working, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her spouse, their 2 cats, and 2 pitbulls, cooking, hiking, reading, running, painting, and photography.
